If you like sea food you can't miss on Coastal Express, one must eat is Masala Fish fry its ultimate, i have ordered it every time i am out there, in fact i go there many times missing it. Check out neer dosa, sanna's, kori roti, kokum they all taste excellent, a meal for couple would cost around 600-800.
Its always nice to get away from normal rotis and dal and have something very different and special. Go far it if you like sea food and want to try something different. The seating's are touch congested but manageable.

What was supposed to be a pleasant team outing turned into a nightmare. We hosted a team dinner at Coastal Express. One of us ordered a couple of Pomfret Fry's. The price was not mentioned (in place of the price, it is mentioned as "Seasonal"). The mistake we made was in not asking for the specific price. Most of the non-veg/fish dishes were priced between Rs. 150 and Rs. 260. The expectation was that the fish would cost anything between Rs. 300 and 900. When it was time for the bill, we discovered to our horror that one piece (the smaller) had been charged at Rs. 500 and the larger piece had been charged at Rs. 3000. On asking the staff about the exorbitant price, they very coolly claimed that they had specifically told us about the price at the time of ordering, which they really hadn't. The ambience of this place is not too great.. neither is the food frankly. And dishonestly at a restaurant really spoils the whole experience. Would not recommend this restaurant to anybody else.
